As you know, our government no longer has funds to support sports programs for
any school in Ukraine.  They must divert all social spending to other
causes.

We need 28,000 dollars to build a soccer pitch volleyball field I think you call a basketball court as follows;
1. Laying of the basement   $7,645
2. Laying of the covering   $11,629
3. Gate Set up   $9m034

We appreciate the generosity of Sustain Ukraine Together and we have discussed your kind offer to contribute even though the funds not to meet our goal. I think we’ve come to a common decision – we will be able to cover the volleyball pitch as well as put up 2 basketball poles for the $10 thousand you have so wonderfully raised.
The work will be done by the organization from Kryvyi Rig and he promises to do it in a week approximately, as soon as he gets some sum in advance. The organization gives a 10-year warranty. There is a pitch in Cherkasy that they built about 10 years ago and is still in good condition. The total amount will be a bit bigger than $ 7 thousand, but we will cover the rest ourselves. I will inform you constantly how the work will be going on and I hope they will have finished by September 1.

The situation in our city is relatively calm, though there are days when the rockets and drones are too loud above us. We’re preparing to work with power outages, especially in winter. We have purchased ecoflow to give the bells signal and stable internet. I’d like to believe that the war will finish soon and we’ll be able to meet in person. I will send the bank information in the next letter and on behalf of the 500 families for our school we deeply thank you for all your efforts.
